Crocodile Birthday Party

My girl turned 5 on Saturday!  My funny girl wanted a crocodile birthday party and it's been my favorite party to plan yet!

The balloon garland was fun to put together!  I used green, blue, and white balloons from Walmart and a balloon garland from Amazon.  Its very easy to use.  All you do is stick the tail of the balloons through the holes!  I cut out the leaves and flowers from construction paper and we used the sticky dots from the balloon garland kit to stick them in with the balloons.  We used command strip hooks to attach it to the ceiling.

My favorite part of our decorating was making this crocodile lurking in the water!  I used a cereal box to cut out the head and body and we painted it with green and yellow paint.  I folded it under to make it three dimensional and hot glued on little eyes and nose pieces.

I used green plates and napkins that were also from Walmart.  It's really my favorite place to go for party supplies!

I found these super fun felt masks on Amazon!  I was so excited by the selection and that they had a crocodile too!  They are such great quality masks!  The kids were so excited!

Our party favor bags included goldfish, bubbles, and a stamp and we also gave out sticky crocodiles and snakes which were a big hit!  Be warned though, it didn't take long for the kids to throw the sticky creatures against the ceiling.  We even had one slingshot around the ceiling fan! haha!  You can find all these items at Walmart as well!

I promised myself I wouldn't stress myself out by making a cake or cupcakes this year (it really isn't my talent) but I ran out of time to ask a professional so I caved and put together this funny crocodile cake out of cupcakes.  You just put the cupcakes close together in formation and then spread the frosting over the top.  We added Oreos for spikes and eyes and mini junior mints for his little pupils.  It wasn't perfect but it was cute and tasted good so that's all that matters right? haha

We had such a fun time celebrating my sweet girl!  Thank you so much for stopping by!
