My youngest sister got married this last month and the wedding was just so dang pretty that I wanted to share a few pictures with you. My mom made me the designated photographer at her open house. I don't know how great an idea that was, but it was fun to take pictures even if they aren't near as good as a professional's.
The Open House was in my parent's backyard. They rented a tent, tables, chairs, and heaters because we didn't know what the weather was going to be like. It ended up being a little bit chilly so we were all glad for the heaters and the fire pit.
I took pictures early so that I'd have the light but by the time guests arrived there was milk in one jar dispenser and fruit water in the other.
Just inside the house, in their newly remodeled kitchen, there was quite the spread of desserts. Mint brownies, donuts, almond cookies, lemon bars, and mini tarts. Yup, I had to sample them all!
They had their guests take a selfie with a Polaroid camera and sign it and pin on an old rustic ladder.
The backyard was gorgeous when it got dark and everything was lit up.
It really was an unforgettable night! My mom did such a wonderful job putting this together. So happy for these two!
