Wild Woodland Animal Valentines




I know the stores are stocking up on Spongebob and Dora the Explorer valentines, but I wanted to create valentines that are a little more sweet and simple, which is why I created these woodland animal valentines.  I have 8 different cards for you to enjoy.  All of the animals (and arrow) were drawn by me and then edited in Photoshop. 


Last year I used these cards as gift tags to hand out with my heart shaped sugar cookies but this year I decided to make them into a Valentine banner to hang in my daughter's playroom.



But why stop there?  You could also cut them out and glue them to a card.  I used card stock from Hobby Lobby.

Creatures such as leopards and snakes heavily influence clothing and accessories, not only because of their skin texture, but in terms of shape and colour too. Some of the largest fashion and jewellery houses have become iconic due to their use of animal inspired clothing and collections. Dolce and Gabbana, for example, are renown for their use of leopard print, adding a sensual and luxurious edge to their brand.
