My Patio Dream Moodboard

I love living in our brand new house!  One of the things I was most looking forward to was having a backyard of my very own.  We had grand plans of planting a garden and flowers but the reality was we just had a brand new baby and we didn't have the money or time to jump into it this year.  We did get the sprinklers put in and the grass planted though and I can't wait to work in my yard next spring!  One of the things I daydream about is having a beautiful patio for lounging and barbecues!  I put together this mood board with all my favorite patio things.  I really did try to add some color, but my heart just goes for neutral decor.  Besides, I figure the flowers and plants I plan to have will be plenty of color.

I included the links for all my favorite patio decor.

The beautiful sectional, rug, and pillow are from this decor website I just heard about called Arhaus.  They have really gorgeous furniture and decor that are perfect for my neutral obsessed self.

I had to browse through Target too of course, and I found the pretty patio umbrella and these awesome industrial patio lights!

I also included a fire pit because every patio needs a fire pit.  One of my most favorite things in the summer is sitting around a fire and eating s'mores!

I love these cute rosemary pots from Joss and Main and this leaf pillow from Wayfair.  I feel like they tie everything together.

Here's a little mockup of how I would throw it all together.  I would want more pillows of course, because duh, you can never have enough pillows, but this is where I would start.  I'd add more potted plants and maybe a flower box too.  Ahhh... I can just see me now, lounging on that big beautiful sofa with a good book.

I hope you enjoyed my little dream mood board.  Do you like to make mood boards too?  They are fun to make because you can put all your elements together to see how they will look.  Thanks for tagging along with me!

I'd love for you to follow me on Facebook, Instagram, and Pinterest!

  2. Choosing the right spot for your fire pit and safety concerns. Clark Garrison The natural light of a fire pit or outdoor fireplace dances as the wind blows the fire from side to side, providing an active display of nature's energy.

  3. I love the color-scheme of your patio accessories. I agree this would all look amazing together. Thanks some landscaping service that specialises in patio construction Victoria BC I'll have my own patio to decorate next week and I'm excited to copy some of your ideas to design to finishing touches.
